- "Creating the Charles Brockden Brown Archive," Mark Kamrath and Rudy McDaniel, has been awarded $200,000.00 of support (3 years) from the National Endowment for the Humanities, Division of Preservation and Access, to make all of Brown's novels, letters, and periodical writings electronically accessible, alongside bibliographical materials. Additional team members include Philip Barnard (University of Kansas), Textual Editor, and Will Dorner (UCF), Graduate Researcher. The project is supported by the UCF Center for Humanities and Digital Research, and UCF College of Arts and Humanties Technology Office.
- In February 2012, the Modern Language Association Committee on Scholarly Editions awarded its seal of approval to the Letters and Early Epistolary Writings (Volume 1), edited by Philip Barnard, Elizabeth Hewitt, and Mark L. Kamrath. John R. Holmes and Fritz Fleischmann serve as consulting editors.
- The Brown Editorial team is pleased to make available the Comprehensive Bibliography of the Writings of Charles Brockden Brown, 1783-1822.
