Kent State University Institute for Bibliography and Editing and Kent State University Press are key partners, enabling us to produce a print version of Brown's uncollected writings that is consistent with editorial standards of the Bicentennial Edition (1977-1987) and a planned digitized version of that edition as well.

American Periodical Series Online (1740-1900)

Finally, access to Proquest's American Periodical Series Collection has greatly enhanced the scholarly scope and quality of the project, especially as it seeks to identify material Brown published in other venues.

Based in Falls Church, Va., with more than 4,000 employees in 20 offices around the world, Aptara Corporation is a select data conversion vendor that works closely with academic and other institutions to convert paper, microfilm, and early generation electronic content for other uses. Aptara provided the Brown project with expert content conversion consultation, keyboarding, and XML coding as well as access to various content management products and services.
